Aldi Australia has brought back a popular $6.49 item, with many shoppers saying they have been waiting for years for it to return.
The frozen Bavarian pretzels, available in time for Oktoberfest, come in a box of six along with a sachet of salt for seasoning.
Shoppers have been sharing rave reviews about the limited edition pretzels on social media, with some revealing they are stocking up because it won’t be around for long.
Fans of the pretzels expressed how excited they were to get their hands on the product after a two-year wait since its last release.
‘I’m running to my Aldi in the morning,’ one said.
‘It honestly seems I’ve been waiting years for them to come back,’ another added.
The ‘delicious’ baked pastry comes in two different shapes – the traditional pretzel and a stick form.
‘Enjoy the traditional Bavarian taste right from the oven,’ the label reads.

‘Someone in our German community started a petition to have them permanently stocked at ALDI,’ one said.
This comes after Aldi announced the best products of 2024.
More than 312,000 votes were cast by shoppers for their favourite must-have grocery items from chicken to a stain-removing laundry detergent.
Earning the number one spot in the Socialite category was the $8.99 Urban Eats Greek Spinach & Cheese Spanakopita.
