Timothee Chalamet was flying solo once again on Saturday as he ditched girlfriend Kylie Jenner to attend the New York Knicks‘ playoff game with his pals.
Chalamet made headlines on Monday when he skipped the Met Gala in New York in order to stay home and watch his beloved basketball team on TV.
And this weekend was no different as he took his place in $27,000-a-pop courtside seats at Madison Square Garden, for Game 3 of the Knicks’ series against the Celtics.
After heading into Saturday’s showdown with a 2-0 lead, it was a bad afternoon for Chalamet and his Knicks, as they were smashed 115-93 despite home court advantage.
The Hollywood icon sat alongside the likes of Tracy Morgan and Ben Stiller in the highly sought-after courtside seats, but the players did not live up to the expectations of a fervent New York crowd.
It has been a busy week for Chalamet, who – after watching the Knicks game in Rome on Monday – did finally make his red carpet debut with Jenner on Wednesday.

The pair attended a photocall for the 70th David di Donatello ceremony in Rome, two days after Chalamet was noticeably absent from the Met Gala in New York City.
Kylie showed off her jaw-dropping curves in a plunging black gown as she cozied up to Timothee on the red carpet.
The couple, who began dating in early 2023, put on a loved-up display as they walked hand-in-hand into the awards together.
Timothee cut a dapper figure in a sharp black velvet suit as he arrived for the occasion, having been awarded the Special David prize for his illustrious career.
Earlier this week, fans speculated whether Kylie and Timothee would use the Met Gala to make their red carpet debut, having only been pictured together inside events and at after parties in the past.

The couple did finally made an official appearance together in Rome on Wednesday night

While Kylie wowed on the carpet, her boyfriend Chalamet distanced himself from the glitz and glamor of the 2025 Met Gala as he watched the NBA playoffs with friends
This weekend, though, it was back to basketball business for Chalamet, who was decked head-to-toe in a Knicks tracksuit, complete with a Knicks cap.
He was spotted celebrating throughout the game, but it ultimately ended in disappointment as the Boston Celtics cut the gap to 2-1 in the best-of-seven series.
In the game, Jayson Tatum had 22 points, nine rebounds and seven assists, while Payton Pritchard scored 23 points to help the Celtics to a simple win.
The Celtics went 20 for 40 from 3-point range after going just 25 for 100 in their two losses in Boston, when they blew 20-point leads in the second half of both games.

They went ahead by 31 in this one and there was never anything resembling a comeback for the Knicks.
Tatum, an All-Star who shot just 12 for 42 overall in Boston, and Pritchard, the NBA Sixth Man of the Year, both made five 3s.
Jaylen Brown scored 19 points and Derrick White had 17 for the Celtics, who will try to tie the series Monday night in Game 4 before returning to Boston for Game 5 on Wednesday.
Jalen Brunson scored 27 points and Karl-Anthony Towns had 21 points and 15 rebounds for the Knicks, who blew a 2-0 lead in this round last year and are still seeking their first conference finals appearance since 2000.
