Tyreek Hill has offered a surprising response to the Colts mocking him in their 2025 schedule release video.
The team was forced to delete the Minecraft-inspired video, which depicted Hill as a dolphin being detained by a coast guard in the sea – a reference to his shocking arrest on the first Sunday of the 2024 season.
And while many fans were angered by the clip – which the Colts have since apologized for – the receiver actually found it amusing.
‘Should’ve left it up, this was funny,’ he said on X in response to a re-post of the video from another account.
Schedule release day has been marked in recent years by NFL teams releasing creative videos to their social media accounts. The Colts face the Dolphins in Week 1, hence the reference to Hill in the video.
However, in a statement to Daily Mail, the team later called the now-deleted clip ‘insensitive.’

The Colts controversially depicted Tyreek Hill’s 2024 arrest in their schedule release video

Indianapolis quickly deleted the video, which showed a dolphin dressed as Hill being detained
‘We removed our schedule release video because it exceeded our rights with Microsoft and included an insensitive clip involving Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill,’ the statement read. ‘We sincerely apologize to Microsoft and Tyreek.’
The controversial wide receiver was pulled over last September by police while heading to the Dolphins’ season opener against the Jaguars and placed in handcuffs, after being accused of driving recklessly while making his way to Hard Rock Stadium. He was also cited for not wearing a seatbelt.
Disturbing bodycam footage of the incident showed officers using excessive force to arrest him on the day, but Hill was still able to line up for Miami and inspire a victory over Jacksonville just hours later.
His two citations, which also included a seatbelt violation, were eventually tossed by the Miami-Dade Police Department after an officer involved in the arrest failed to show up to a hearing.
Hill has encountered various run-ins with the law during his NFL career, most recently having the police called on him in April over a domestic dispute with his wife , Keeta Vaccaro, who reportedly wants a divorce.
The 31-year-old was described as ‘very aggressive and impulsive’ by his wife’s mother, Alesia Vaccaro, who said she feared for the safety of her daughter.
Hill is gearing up for his 10th NFL season, though there have been suggestions that he could be (and wants to be) traded out of Miami.

The controversial Dolphins star has encountered various run-ins with the law over the years
After the team’s loss to the Jets in the regular season finale – in which he quit on his team in the third quarter – Hill indicated he wanted to play elsewhere, saying ‘I’m out.’
‘It was great playing here, but at the end of the day, bro, I got to do what’s best for my career,’ he told reporters. ‘I’m too much of a competitor to be just out there.’
He later told Kay Adams that he wanted to remain in Miami, though he drew more attention earlier this month as he named his top five quarterbacks in the league – and did not include Miami’s Tua Tagovailoa.
Hill recently had a second procedure on his wrist, posting from his hospital bed last week that everything went according to plan.
The Dolphins wideout had an initial operation on a ligament issue earlier this year and now has undergone a follow-up to remove screws, according to ESPN.
