The wife of Jennifer Aniston’s alleged stalker has exclusively revealed to Daily Mail that he is desperate for the Friends legend to be his ‘queen’.
Jimmy Carwyle, who also believes he is Jesus Christ, was arrested after sensationally ramming the security gate at the star’s Bel-Air home on May 5 at 12:20pm.
The 48-year-old’s disheveled and unsettling appearance shocked the world when he shuffled into an arraignment hearing, wrapped in an anti-suicide blanket, at Los Angeles Superior Court on May 8.
Prosecutors said Carwyle, from Mississippi, had ‘repeatedly’ harassed Aniston between March 1, 2023 to May 5, 2025, sending her ‘unwanted social media, voicemail, and email messages.’
Julia Carwyle, who believes her husband is struggling with mental health problems, told Daily Mail he is a ‘great guy’ and that he has made three trips to meet with his celebrity infatuation.
She last saw her husband in September on the day he headed off on his latest California odyssey in an attempt to meet with Aniston, who was inside her $21 million home at the time he crashed into the property, although the two did not come face to face.
‘He went to California six months ago,’ said Julia, 48.
‘He left in September and went and I haven’t seen him since he left. He was leaving that day to go.

Mississippi man Carwyle did not enter a plea, or speak at all, but intently stared at the courtroom and placed his hands on the glass during a May 8 hearing

Aniston was home when Carwyle crashed his Chrysler PT Cruiser through the gate of her home in the wealthy Bel-Air neighborhood
‘He was going there because he was going to meet up with Jennifer. He was going to go see her.
‘He actually thought he was going to meet Jennifer. I guess he was speaking with her. He had the impression that Jennifer Aniston and he were going to talk and meet.
‘So naturally he’s doing what anybody would do – he went across the country.’
Julia said Carwyle believed he would indeed meet up with the actress.
‘He thought “Maybe she’s just going to meet a guy… to take a chance,”’ she added. ‘That’s the way he was thinking.’
Social media posts allegedly from Carwyle were unearthed after the crash although it has not been confirmed that they belong to him.
Several referred to Aniston as his ‘bride,’ including one posted in October, allegedly referring to the actress as ‘Jennifer Aniston Carwyle.’
Another post allegedly said that he and Aniston would be ‘mended together’ and referenced Adam and Eve.

Carwyle, 48, was charged with felony stalking and vandalism

Police are investigating social media posts and messages that potentially indicate stalking
The DA’s office has accused Carwyle of ‘repeatedly harassing the victim.’ The harassment ‘culminated when he allegedly crashed his vehicle through her front gate, causing substantial damage, and stopped in her driveway.’
Aniston’s security rushed to the scene and ‘held him at gunpoint’ while they waited for the LAPD to arrive, the court was told.
Afterwards, Carwyle complained about back pain and was transported to hospital. The case was then handed over to the LAPD’s Threat Management Unit.
Sources previously told local ABC affiliate, KABC, that Carwyle had a ‘minor’ criminal history.
In addition to stalking and vandalism charges, Carwyle faces a charge for aggravating the threat of great bodily harm.
‘Stalking is a crime that can quickly escalate from harassment to dangerous, violent actions, threatening the safety of victims and our communities,’ District Attorney Nathan Hochman said.
‘My office is committed to aggressively prosecuting those who stalk and terrorize others, ensuring they are held accountable.’
He added that Deputy District Attorney Sam Hulefeld of LADA’s Stalking and Threat Assessment Team is prosecuting the case.

Aniston’s alleged stalker made a bizarre shirtless appearance in court days after he was arrested for crashing into the front gates of the star’s $21m mansion while she was home

Carwyle was ordered to stay at least 100 yards away from Aniston’s home and away from the star

Unearthed social media posts described a disturbing desire to marry Aniston from an account with the suspect’s name
During the arraignment Judge Keith L Schwartz expressed doubt that Carwyle could understand him when a prosecutor requested that the defendant be ordered not to get near Aniston. A stay away order was granted.
The accused will go through mental-health court to determine whether he is competent to face charges.
His attorney, Deputy Public Defender Toral Malik, said: ‘I don´t believe him staying away from Ms Aniston will be an issue at this time.
‘You are not to have any contact with Jennifer Aniston under any conditions’ the judge said.
Carwyle, who remains in jail, was also ordered to stay at least 100 yards away from Aniston’s home.
Schwartz set bail at $150K and called for the next hearing to take place at the Mental Health Court in Hollywood on May 22.
Julia revealed to Daily Mail that her husband had also attempted to meet with Aniston on two previous occasions.
‘That’s his third trip out there to try and meet her,’ she said.
Of the violent attempt to gain entry to the actress’s hilltop home with his car, Julia added: ‘I think he probably got a little aggravated because he could not (meet her).’
Julia noted she and Carwyle, a car mechanic, have been separated for ‘a few years’ after marrying in 2019.
‘We had been split up for a while and I was thinking, well, if you want to go meet, all power to you, but it’s not going to work.
‘I just couldn’t believe any of this.’
Grandmother Julia has four daughters from a previous relationship. Carwyle also has a daughter, Kelly, 23.
‘Jimmy’s a great guy,’ insisted Julia. ‘He’s just had some things happen.’
Referring to the shocking pictures of him from his court appearance: ‘This isn’t him. It doesn’t even look like him. He’s not there.’

She said at some point that he must have ‘flipped’ and that something had ‘manifested that we’re all not aware of.
‘It’s something that’s between him and his maker. Mental illness is real. It does not discriminate. He’s going through a lot right now.
‘He believes he was Jesus Christ and that she was supposed to be his queen.
‘His mentality is nothing like it used to be. Something has triggered him. I don’t know if he’s having a midlife crisis or what.’
Julia said Carwyle’s family are ‘pretty upset’ by recent events.
She described him as a ‘family oriented man.’
‘I love him,’ she said. ‘I don’t know what I could do for him to make things better. I just want him to get help. His kids want him to get help,’ added Julia.
‘I guess he’s been living out of his car. I’ve been helping him. I’ve been sending him money (via) Cash App when I could.
‘I’ve been working… I’ve been taking care of my mom for the past couple of years, trying to help her.
‘It’s just been a rough point. It’s just been a dark time in our lives and things have happened.
‘I don’t know how he ended up over there and how all that happened, but it just did.
‘We just want to get him back home. His daughter needs her daddy. Little girls need their daddies.’
If convicted Carwyle faces up to three years in a state prison.
