Lidl shoppers are raving about an ultra-affordable haircare line they say is just as good as high-end brand Olaplex.
Beauty lovers are racing to the budget supermarket to get their hands on the Bond Repair No 1 shampoo and No 2 conditioner after one woman said it made her hair feel incredibly soft.
She collectively dubbed the bargain buys as a ‘pretty good knockoff’ of Olaplex shampoos that retail for over £20.
While the Lidl versions only cost £3.29, shoppers have reported struggling to find the dupes in the middle aisle at their nearest outlets.
In fact, listings for the elusive dupes have even appeared on ebay, where the Bond Repair shampoo and conditioner sets are selling for as much as £20.
‘I can highly recommend these Olaplex dupes in Lidl! I’ve just tried them and my hair is veryyyy soft,’ one woman said on Facebook.
‘Honestly feels softer than when I use real Olaplex! Obviously they’re not exactly the same but I think it’s a pretty great knockoff.’
People were keen to try the dupes out for themselves, with one woman saying: ‘I’m off to Lidl. Thank you!’.

‘Oh, amazing!! I bought some real Olaplex conditioner for £26 and have been quite disappointed with it,’ another wrote.
‘Damn, I was just in Lidl too,’ a third replied and someone added: ‘Ooh nice! Thanks for sharing’.
While some users were quick to point out Bond Repair has different ingredients to Olaplex, others argued they give similar results for a fraction of the price.
‘I haven’t directly compared ingredients but Olaplex is a patented formula so it’s not going to be exactly the same. All I can say is, I’ve got both here and this made my hair feel equally good, if not better,’ the poster responded.
Beauty buff and TikToker Latticia tried the Bond Repair shampoo and conditioner on her 4C (coarse, curly) hair and said she was impressed with the results.
She said the shampoo was surprisingly gentle and hydrating while the conditioner gave her hair ‘next level slip’ adding: ‘My brush literally glided through my curls’.
Latticia explained the Bond Repair products keep her curls strong leaving them less prone to breakage and that she found they contained no harmful silicones or parabens.
‘This duo is sticking around in my routine,’ she added.
