The 2025 Met Gala was hit with a number of shocking last-minute cancellations from longtime veterans of the event to one of this year’s honorary co-chairs.
Despite knowing the event falls on the first Monday of May, these celebrities were unable to fit fashion’s biggest night into their schedules or were simply not interested in coming.
On Monday morning, DailyMail.com exclusively confirmed that Jennifer Lopez was skipping the fundraiser.
She has been busy filming her new movie, Office Romance, in the New Jersey area, which is located just outside of New York City, where the event is held.
Just days before the fundraiser, Sarah Jessica Parker, left fans stunned as she also confirmed she would not be attending due to a scheduling conflict.
The red carpet fixture has walked the famed steps of the Met 12 times since her first appearance in 1995.
