Barstool boss Dave Portnoy has appeared to confirm his relationship with new girlfriend Camryn D’Aloia, a year after they were first spotted together in public at a Boston Celtics game.
The 48-year-old Portnoy revealed her identity while telling a wider story behind a recent scary incident he was part of on the ‘Drop a Pin’ podcast.
Portnoy has previously admitted he is in a relationship but generally keeps his private life hidden. Even on Monday’s reveal, he only refers to D’Aloia once, as ‘Cam’.
D’Aloia, 26, is Portnoy’s first confirmed public partner since Silvana Mojica, who the Barstool leader dated from 2021 until the end of 2023.
Portnoy started the revelation with a recent anecdote about his boat losing power in the Nantucket Harbor last summer.
‘I thought about jumping off (the boat) at one point,’ Portnoy said, before a podcast co-host asked if his mother was also aboard.

‘No. Originally, it was myself and Cam, um, a girl I’m dating. I was like, “You have to get off and tell somebody, I have no communication.” So she, before we got too far, dove off and went home and called the harbor master.’
Portnoy was spotted on television last April with D’Aloia at an NBA game – an incident he later described as ‘unfortunate’ given he had not long split from his ex, Mojica.
‘Very unfortunate set of circumstances, I’ll say that,’ Portnoy said in May last year on the BFFs podcast.
‘Because… well, I’m sensitive to the fact I’m six months, five-and-a-half months, out of a relationship (at the time), so being seen on a date or with a girl, was not what I was trying to do.’
‘I turned down courtside [seats]. I don’t want to be pictured, I don’t want to be on TV, I don’t want any of it.
‘We walk in, sit down, and I know instantly I have a problem. No idea where these tickets were. They are right behind the broadcaster. It was the two worst tickets – and there’s the reaction, like, what the f***.’
That Celtics’ playoff game against the Miami Heat took place last April, with the duo being spotted on television sitting next to each other behind the announcers.
Portnoy was previously married to Renee Portnoy from 2009 to 2017.

Speaking about his split from Mojica in 2023, Portnoy said: ‘We were dating for three years and I guess you get to a point where you think maybe there’s a difference in what somebody wants and what the other person wants.
‘Without going into too much detail, I just didn’t think I could give Silvana kind of what she deserves.
‘She’s so beautiful, she’s funny, she’s smart, she’s all these things.’
