NRL champ Ben Hunt is looking to score a major real estate win after listing his Sydney home for a reported $2.2million.
The former St. George Dragons captain is selling his five-bedroom, two-bathroom property in Caringbah South after returning to Queensland last year to play for his old team, the Brisbane Broncos.
Located 28km from the CBD, the chic pad is built in the style of a ‘Queenslander’ and features a thoughtful open-plan layout.
Hunt, 35, and his wife Bridget bought the spacious home in 2018 for $1.61million and hope to nearly double the investment, reported the Daily Telegraph on Sunday.
Built in 2010, the home has large light-filled open living areas and terrific views of the surrounding neighbourhood.
Highlights include a large kitchen space which boasts a breakfast bar.

The main living area opens out to a delightful al fresco dining area on a purpose built patio timber deck.
Other features include an entertainment lounge which is fitted with a retro style fireplace.
With the living space all on the upper level, the ground floor deck hosts a car space and storage.
Since moving back to Queensland, Ben and his wife are reportedly renting on the Gold Coast.
Hunt has a solid real estate portfolio, including a property in the Ballina Shire near Byron Bay worth $2.7million.
Known as a ‘luxury farm stay’, the spread covers 20 hectares.
He also owns a four-bedroom, two-bathroom rental investment pad at Bridgeman Downs in Brisbane.
Hunt built the home after purchasing the land in 2013 for $375,000.

It was listed to lease at $875 a week last August.
Hunt officially returned home to the Brisbane Broncos in December after inking a two-year deal with the NRL club where he played most of his career.
He announced his decision in November.
The former St George Illawarra Dragons captain was close to winning the 2015 grand final with the Broncos, a decider that finished in heartbreak in a golden-point loss to North Queensland.
He was first recruited to the Broncos as a 12-year-old by legendary talent scout Cyril Connell and came through the under-20s program before making his first grade debut in 2009.
