Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James was seen writhing around in pain after running directly into an opponent on the Golden State Warriors.
Midway through the first quarter of the game, James ran into the paint in an attempt to get open for a pass.
He wasn’t looking where he was going and ran straight into Warriors forward Jonathan Kuminga.
James fell backwards on the floor after taking contact to the midsection and was seen writhing around in pain.
He was overheard screaming and was seen slapping the court as the play continued on at the other end of the floor.
When the Lakers forced a turnover, the officials finally stopped the action to tend to the injured star.

Athletic trainers came out to tend to James as he rolled around on the floor in obvious pain.
James eventually got to his feet and was working through the injury, but was subbed out of the game for a brief time.
After working through things, he got back to the floor and was able to play through the brief pain.
By halftime, James had played 20 minutes and managed eight points, two rebounds, and three assists on a 2-for-4 shooting line.
At game’s end, LeBron finished with 33 points, five rebounds, and eight assists on a 10-for-15 shooting line.
However, the Lakers lost 121-116 to the Warriors – denying them a series sweep of their California rivals.
The Lakers also had a key contribution from Austin Rivers, who hit 10-of-19 shots – including a 9-of-16 line from beyond the arc – where he put up 31 points and six rebounds.
Meanwhile, Golden State star Steph Curry put up a game-high 37 points. He was supported by a great shooting night from guard Brandin Podziemski, who knocked down 8-of-10 shots from 3-point range and 10-of-17 from the field for 28 points.
