A bride who wanted to remember the best day of her life was devastated to find that instead, it had been tarnished forever.
Tennessee-based woman Lindsay Porch wanted to preserve her wedding bouquet from her August nuptials – but never imagined it would end up destroyed.
In a video shared on TikTok, Lindsay said she contacted a company to preserve the bouquet a few weeks after tying the knot.
But, after seeing the flowers, the company informed her that the blooms were discolored and suggested a color restoration.
‘They were white roses,’ she explained, showing a photo of the roses, which had yellowed.
‘[The company said] “we suggest a color restoration,”‘ she explained, adding she agreed to it as the flowers in the picture looked like ‘rotten Brussel sprouts.’
The bride was told it would be $150 for the color restoration service, which she paid for – and was horrified when she was sent the before and after.
She showed the before pictures, pointing out some of them were ‘beautiful.’

‘I want to cry showing you the after,’ she said, revealing the finished product.
The flowers she showed looked as through they had been completely covered in thick wall paint and were barely recognizable.
‘This almost looks like spray painted toilet paper,’ she said in dismay, pointing to the roses.
‘This doesn’t look real to me at all,’ she continued. ‘These aren’t real flowers, these aren’t my flowers.’
Lindsay continued saying she’s a ‘little upset’ because paid $600 for the service, also paying $200 to ship it and further $150 for the color restoration.
‘Do you think I’m being dramatic?’ she asked.
But viewers were equally as horrified by the end result and were quick to flood to the comments.
‘As a florist who sees a lot of preservation… I’m confused!!! That doesn’t look right at all girl!!’ one user wrote.

‘That’s not color restoration baby that’s Walmart spray paint,’ agreed another.
Another wrote: ‘I don’t think you’re being dramatic enough personally like this is a once in a lifetime thing HELLO???’
Many people preserve their wedding florals as a keepsake of their big day, some even frame and press them to enjoy for years to come.
Flowers can be preserved at home by crafty DIY brides. One way to do this is to press their flowers then display in a frame.
Another way is to air dry bouquets, which can be done by hanging them upside down so the florals keep their form in a dry, temperate area, for at least a week.
