Newly sworn-in FBI director Kash Patel is weighing releasing the complete Jefferey Epstein flight logs, after promising to do so if confirmed by the Senate to the position.
Republican Sen. Marsha Blackburn of Tennessee sent a letter to Patel on Monday asking him to keep his promise, by releasing the flight logs from Epstein’s private jet and helicopter as well as all of the information from Ghislaine Maxwell’s ‘little black book’.
‘The American people deserve to know exactly who was affiliated with this network,’ Blackburn wrote, adding she had ‘no doubt’ that he would act quickly to release the information.
Blackburn accused Epstein of operating a ‘heinous global sex trafficking network’ and that the full details of his crimes and those associated him should be revealed.
‘It is paramount that the FBI provide full transparency to the American people and immediately release the complete, unredacted records in this case,’ she wrote.
Patel promised Blackburn during his Senate confirmation hearing in January that he would ‘absolutely’ work to release the documents related to the Epstein case.
‘I will do everything, if confirmed as FBI Director, to make sure the American public knows the full weight of what happened in the past and how we are going to counterman missing children and exploited children going forward,’ Patel said.
Trump supporters are eager to see who is on Epstein’s lists, as the wealthy financier traveled, connected, and partied with the most rich and powerful Democrats in the United States.

Attorney General Pam Bondi also indicated that releasing the bombshell files was among her top priorities.
‘I can’t talk about that that publicly,’ she told media personality Benny Johnson on Friday at CPAC. ‘President Trump has given a very strong directive and that is going to be followed.’
She added that there as a ‘lot of documents’ involved with the case but reassured supporters that ‘Donald Trump does not make empty promises.’
On Friday, Bondi told Fox News that the documents were ‘sitting on my desk right now to review. That’s been a directive by President Trump. I’m reviewing that.’
Epstein committed suicide in federal prison in 2019 as he was awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges.
Patel frequently promised more transparency in the FBI during the 2024 presidential campaign, including on the Epstein case.
‘The black book?… that’s under direct control of the director of the FBI,’ Patel told broadcaster Glenn Beck, endorsing the idea of Trump releasing the black book ‘on day one.’
