A customer was frustrated after discovering an unpleasant surprise in his Uncrustables sandwich.
The buyer, known as momdadvicky on TikTok, opened an Uncrustables Peanut Butter & Honey Spread sandwich and noticed something odd about the snack, which is marketed as a sandwich with no crust, hence the name.
While showing off the Uncrustables product in his video, the TikToker and other customers couldn’t help but notice a large slab of crust inside the sandwich.
‘I don’t know how to get in contact with the people at Uncrustables but this is crust,’ momdadvicky said in the video.
Commenters were furious over the Uncrustables snack, which some fans called an ‘untrustable’ or ‘crustable’ sandwich.
‘THIS IS THE SECOND TIME I’VE SEEN THIS HAPPEN WHAT HAS THIS WORLD COME TO,’ a TikToker wrote.
‘They literally had one job and in it’s in the name,’ another person responded.

A few fans suggested he contact Uncrustables about the matter and see about getting coupons for free boxes of sandwiches.
Others urged momdadvicky to get a lawyer and sue for ‘false advertisement and emotional damages.’
Another mom added, ‘Thank god this happened to you and not my autistic 4 year old.’
One viewer claimed that the crust on the Uncrustable would have been his ’13th reason,’ referring to the suicide-themed Netflix series, 13 Reasons Why.
‘Dude no joke that’s a false advertisement lawsuit. Get a lawyer ASAP,’ a commenter insisted.
As of now, its parent company, The J.M. Smucker Company, has not been sued by the TikTok user for false advertisement regarding Uncrustables sandwiches.
‘They may be cut from the same loaf, but Uncrustables and Crust couldn’t be more different,’ the brand wrote.

Uncrustables has released a variety of new flavors over the years, including Peanut Butter & Grape Jelly and Peanut Butter & Strawberry Jam
Uncrustables were invented by David Geske and Len Kretchman in 1995 and were originally called Incredible Uncrustables.
The sandwiches were sold in schools throughout the US, and The J.M. Smucker Company bought the brand in 1998.
Over the years, Uncrustables created sandwich flavors like Peanut Butter & Grape Jelly and Peanut Butter & Strawberry Jam.
The brand has not decreased in popularity since its creation, and NFL players reportedly eat 80,000 Uncrustables a year.
It’s also racked in millions of dollars in revenue and made nearly $1 billion in annual sales last year.
The company anticipates Uncrustables will continue to bring in revenue and exceed its fiscal 2025 net sale expectations.
‘With this incredible momentum fueling the Uncrustables brand, we now anticipate full-year net sales for the brand to be over $900 million in fiscal 2025, exceeding our initial expectation of $100 million of net sales growth,’ The J.M. Smucker Company president Mark Smucker said in a 2024 earnings call.
Daily Mail has reached out to The J.M. Smucker Company for comment.
