It comes after helping steer Australia to a record final-four finish at the recent FIFA Women’s World Cup and highlights why she is a star on the rise.
It is hard to believe that Fowler is only 22, but she celebrated that birthday on Friday on February 14 – the same day as the international day of love.
While her partner, NRL star Nathan Cleary, was unable to be present as he prepares for the upcoming season-opener in Vegas, Fowler made the most of the day.

Fowler posted a series of sultry images with her new hairstyle, rocking denim and a white tank top while posting: “The day was indeed full of love. Thanks for all the birthday wishes x”.
While Cleary could not be there for the big day, Fowler did share a recent image of him looking at a camera to showcase their shared love of photography, including a white heart.
She also shared a birthday and Valentine’s Day message send by Manchester City teammate Kerstin Casparij, with the message ‘Happy Valentine’s Day Pookie’.
Fellow Netherlands international Ashleigh Weerden also shared a message saying “Happy birthday flower”.
Fowler’s sister Louise send a message from back home in Australian with a childhood photo saying “Sending you even more love today”.
Manchester City goalkeeper Katie Startup posted: “Happy birthday to the only person brave enough to come on my walkies”.
Teammate Laura Coombs posted: “Happy birthday to 1/3 of my thruple”.
And Casparij’s girlfriend Ruth Brown shared an image of the pair playing video games with the caption: “Happy bday Mazzie. Thanks for babysitting Kerstin when I’m not there”.

Fowler has a big month coming up with clashes against Sam Kerr’s Chelsea in the League Cup final and the Champion’s League quarter-finals
Fowler is scheduled to play Sam Kerr’s Chelsea twice in the coming month, in the League Cup final and also in the Champion’s League quarter-finals.
It remains unclear whether Kerr will play in either match after she was found not guilty of racially harrassing a London police officer.
She is on the comeback trail from an ACL rupture and is scheduled to return in March, but the club has stressed that they will not rush her return and risk another injury.
The first leg of the Champion’s League quarter-finals will be played on March 18-19, followed by the second legs on March 26-27. The semi-final will be held on April 19-20 and April 26-27, with the final to be staged on May 24 in Lisbon.
