Pregnant Charlotte Dawson reveals she was checked by medics at hospital after suffering with pains and having ‘a big gush of water’ – as she gives update ahead of welcoming a baby girl

Charlotte Dawson has revealed she headed to hospital and was checked over by medics after suffering with pains and having a big gush of water’. 

The reality TV star, 32, is currently 36 weeks pregnant with her third child, with her little girl due at the beginning of March. 

And taking to Instagram on Thursday, Charlotte shared a snap of herself from hospital the night before, where she sought reassurance after being ‘so sore’ and feeling ‘less movement’ by her baby.

She penned: ‘Went to the hospital last ight after that story of me being so sore, I had a big gush of water & a few pains, less movement so just thought I’m best getting checked as my back waters went with Jude.

‘But no waters, just a water infection. So that explains a bit.’

Ensuring her fans that she hadn’t given birth yet she continued: ‘She’s still here but she’s very much head engaged. I feel reassured now tho after going to hospital [sic].’

In another story, Charlotte showed her mother Tracey Dawson, who was at her side at the hospital, while her fiancé Matthew Sarsfield no doubt stayed home with the couples sons Noah, four. and Jude, 18 months. 

Charlotte went on to give her fans another update later in the day, revealing that she was ‘a lot better’, before going into more detail about the situation.

She explained: ‘I had this big gush of water… I went into hospital last night because I just wanted to get checked.

‘I was so happy I went because I had a water infection, so yeah I was vey very happy I went. Cos I knew something wasn’t right, there was a party going on and I wasn’t invited – didn’t even have a guestlist down there!’

Showing off her burgeoning bare bump in leopard print pyjamas, Charlotte turned to the side and added: ‘Yeah, I’m still here guys and I can’t wait to get my tan on, because I need it!’ 

Earlier this month, Charlotte took to Instagram to showcase her massive baby bump with her due date fast approaching.

Dressed in a cream sports bra and grey joggers, the reality star gave her followers the latest update on her pregnancy.

She said: ‘She’s 36 weeks prego. Yeah, I know people are going to say, “Get that bump away, I’m sick of ya, you don’t wear any clothes, blah blah blah.”

‘Honestly, if I take this bra off, I could chuck them over my shoulders. One is still in the Maldives, and the other is in Blackpool.

‘And the nipples… yeah, full-on burger nips.’

‘I know my belly button looks like a f*nny flap – actually, I think it looks more like a todger now. Honestly, guys, my heartburn is burning, and my bump laughs with me.’

It comes after Charlotte revealed what went wrong between her and her fiancé Matt Sarsfield which led him to messaging another woman. 

The TV star is counting down the days until the arrival of baby number three, with the news of her pregnancy coming just weeks after the reports of Matt’s sexting scandal.

However almost six months on Charlotte has given an update on the couple’s relationship as she admitted why the couple drifted and the rugby league player turned his attention elsewhere. 

Admitting last year was a rollercoaster, she confessed to MailOnline that the couple weren’t making time for each other and hadn’t been spending quality time together on dates. 

She explained: ‘It was a lot last year and especially being pregnant dealing with all that was quite hard.

‘But everything’s a lot better now, obviously we’ve sorted things out and we’re really excited to grow our family.’ 

The pair have been getting on better since the trauma of the summer as she explained: ‘It’s been really good since everything and we’ve been getting on a lot better.

‘We’ve been having date nights and making time for each other, which we never did before and just having a bit of like therapy together and stuff like that.

‘It’s been a journey, but it’s our journey type thing.’

Charlotte and Matt, who are currently parents to Noah, four, and Jude, 18 months, are preparing to welcome their first daughter together. 

Addressing how Matt’s perspectives have shifted ahead of being a ‘girl dad’ she continued: ‘Obviously Matthew is going to be a girl dad so I think he’d want his little princess to never be treated badly.’ 

Revealing the couple’s Valentine’s plans she admitted they are keeping it low key in case she goes into labour.

‘I think Matt said he wants to take me out next Friday for some lunch and he normally like gets me a nice bouquet of roses. 

‘Roses are my favourite flowers and he likes to jazz them up a bit for me because I like a bit of sparkle, we all know, and then he normally cooks me a meal.

‘I don’t know what he’s got planned but I just want a bath with some petals. I’ve actually done the work for him, I’ve got some petals that you can put in the bath. I’ll just shove him them and say, “you know what you’re doing!”‘

As they took a tentative step towards rebuilding the trust, Matt broke down in tears as he admitted he ‘massively regrets’ the decision and was left ‘heartbroken’ by his actions. 

Speaking about his decision to go on the podcast, she explained: ‘It was quite a big thing for Matthew. 

‘He’s the hardest guest I’ve ever had had on the podcast because obviously he was very nervous, but we really want to make it work and be a family.

‘I think because it was so public, I think that he said it would have helped a lot of couples as well going through the same thing.’ 

Charlotte added: ‘I think it was the best thing that we did, just speaking about everything that’s the best way to deal with things as well, isn’t it?

‘I saw a different side to him. He really broke down on it as well which obviously I didn’t expect. It was brave for him to do that because he’s not like that at all.’

Discussing how celebrities don’t often shine a light on the process of rebuilding trust she added: ‘People on social media have a certain life and they don’t show some real bits.

‘Some people don’t like to show that they’re actually problems in a relationship. And there is, you know what I mean? Not every day, there’s ups and downs, and people don’t talk about it, which people like to keep private, which is absolutely fine.

‘I would have kept this private if it was in my hands, but it wasn’t, unfortunately. So when it isn’t you have to talk about it and because I’m such an honest, open person on socials and stuff it would have been odd for me not to address things.’
