Oklahoma pastor Brandon Dale Biggs, who previously predicted an assassination attempt on Donald Trump, has made a new alarming prophecy. He claims to have received a divine vision of a catastrophic earthquake hitting the New Madrid Seismic Zone in the U.S., with a magnitude of 10. This region includes parts of Missouri, Arkansas, Tennessee, Kentucky, and Illinois. The prophecy, shared in April 2024, suggests widespread devastation.

Biggs revealed that the earthquake he foresaw would be unprecedented in its magnitude. In a video, he described seeing a “10-magnitude earthquake hit the New Madrid fault line,” which would create a “chain reaction,” including a 6.5 magnitude aftershock stretching from Texarkana, Texas, to Oklahoma. He claimed to have seen thousands of homes destroyed and hundreds of lives lost in the aftermath.

The pastor connected the timing of the earthquake to a significant political event. Biggs claimed the disaster would occur “three days after they try to divide Jerusalem with the two-state solution.” The two-state solution is a proposed resolution to the ongoing Israeli-Palestinian conflict, a topic that continues to be a point of international debate and tension.

The New Madrid Seismic Zone (NMSZ) has a history of powerful earthquakes. In 1811 and 1812, the fault unleashed a trio of jolts measuring magnitudes between 7.5 and 7.7. Those earthquakes caused chimneys to collapse, farmland to sink, and boats to capsize in the central Mississippi River Valley. The damage was significant, though the region’s sparse population at the time helped to minimize casualties.

Despite Biggs’ prophecy, experts remain skeptical about the likelihood of such a massive earthquake hitting the New Madrid fault. Seismologists explain that the NMSZ is a mid-continental fault system, not a subduction zone, which is typically where the most powerful earthquakes occur. The strongest earthquake ever recorded was a magnitude 9.5 in Chile in 1960, and scientists argue that a 10-magnitude quake would require a fault system far larger than the NMSZ.

Biggs shared vivid details about his vision, claiming that the earthquake would be so powerful that “the Mississippi River starts, it goes out another direction.” He also claimed to have seen Chinook helicopters flying in to deliver aid, describing how “they were flying so low that they were shaking the houses.” Experts warn that if a major earthquake were to hit the New Madrid fault today, the consequences would be catastrophic. A quake similar to the ones in 1811 and 1812 could kill more than 5,000 people. Biggs’ prediction of a magnitude 10 event would likely result in “hundreds of thousands to millions” of casualties, according to experts. The destruction would be unprecedented.

Biggs’ past prophecies have garnered attention for their apparent accuracy. He previously claimed to have foreseen an assassination attempt on Donald Trump. “This bullet flew by his ear, and it came so close to his head that it busted his eardrum,” he said in a video. In July 2024, Trump was the target of an attack during a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, with a bullet grazing his ear, although it did not burst his eardrum.

Biggs also claimed to have foreseen attacks in Las Vegas and New Orleans. He described seeing “a glimpse of Vegas” and “New Orleans Bourbon Street” in his vision. On January 1, 2025, two attacks occurred: a truck was driven into a crowd on Bourbon Street, and explosives were detonated outside the Trump International Hotel in Las Vegas.

Biggs continues to stand by his prophecy, warning that the earthquake will come after the two-state solution is discussed. “The Lord told me that when they try to divide Jerusalem… you will see a three-day window,” he said. “That [will be] the time for people to flee.” While scientists dismiss the idea of a 10-magnitude quake in this fault zone, Biggs’ prediction continues to stir conversation and concern among his followers.
