NRL teams might be back into the pre-season slog, but Cronulla star Nicho Hynes still found time for a cheeky getaway with his new girlfriend recently.
Hynes and his new flame Piper Wallis travelled to the award-winning Qualia resort on Hamilton Island in the Whitsundays in Queensland for some rest and recreation ahead of Christmas.
Piper shared a video montage to Instagram of their trip, posting, ‘dream weekend at Qualia Resort’.
The montage started with footage on the plane right of Hynes taking a nap, with Piper recording him and joking ‘dumb face’ in the caption.
The couple then shared footage of the spectactular blue ocean and tropical oasis they were staying at, along with some loved up moments to wrap it all up.
‘Amazing few days Qualia Resort, we will be back,’ Hynes posted.

The NRL star then also took a cheeky jab at his girlfriend, captioning her video with, ‘the advertising specialist has done well here’ and a laughing emoji.
The University of Technology Sydney graduate recently started a new job as Business Manager at DDB Group Australia, according to her LinkedIn profile.
‘Well this looks like a horrible holiday. You guys are the cutest!! Well deserved break and time out for you together,’ one of Piper’s followers commented.
‘Hamo is a place that stays in your heart forever after going. I have been 5 times now and never get tired of it,’ added another.
Hynes was first linked to Piper in September when she was spotted sitting at a Cronulla Sharks game with his mother Julie.
The 28-year-old was then see enjoying a brunch date with Piper and their relationship was confirmed.
Hynes has been single for most of his professional playing career and has been very private about his personal life, with the exception of his family.
But he has been happy to share images and videos with his new flame including his latest tropical getaway.

The star five-eighth will be looking to bounce back in 2025 after an indifferent season where he was dumped as New South Wales State of Origin half and his NRL side crashed out in the preliminary final to eventual champions Penrith Panthers.
He also spent large periods of the season battling injury and will be looking for a pre-season that is not disrupted to pave the platform for a big 2025 season.
The Sharks will get an early chance of revenge against the Panthers, with the two teams to clash in the NRL season-opener in Vegas.
The Canberra Raiders will take on the New Zealand Warriors in the NRL double header, while Super League sides Warrington and Wigan will also do battle at Allegiant Stadium along with the Australian Jillaroos and the England Women’s Team.
